We focus on putting the tools to prevent or reverse pre-diabetes in your hands, similar to the diabetes prevention program. Enjoy learning and practicing mind-body skills, growth mindset, nutrition & movement for better blood sugar, blood pressure and healthful weight. A recent meta-analysis of 28 studies showed mind-body skills including yoga, mindfulness and meditation can improve the 3 month marker for blood glucose, hemoglobin A1c by .84%. Large research trials that offer supportive eating guidance and encourage 150 min/week of exercise activity show participants can reduce their progression toward diabetes by 58%.
